Johan Djourou

Johan Danon Djourou-Gbadjere (born 18 January 1987 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast), more commonly known as Johan Djourou, is an Ivorian-born Swiss Footballer who plays for Arsenal. He used to play as a Defensive midfielder in his youth for former club Etoiile Carouge, but on his arrival at Arsenal was converted to a Central Defender. He occasionally fills in at full back for Arsenal and played several games in Central Midfield Birmingham .

Thomas Vermaelen (born 14 November 1985) is Belgium Footballer, who currently plays for English club Arsenal and is captain of the Belgium National team as a Defender. Prior to his joining Arsenal he played for Dutch Ajax and Rkc Waalvijk. He is especially known for his potent threat as a goalscorer, despite being a central defender. Being left-footed, he usually plays as a left-sided center-half and can play at left back as well.
